thejonson
I've finally got everything working this morning, including my apple bluetooth keyboard (only seems to work with a BT 2.1+EDR adapter) But I've started getting some serious slowdowns and finder lock-ups when accessing my second drive. Its a plain old disk, GUID Partition Table, OSX Journaled Mode, its exactly the same as the disk I boot from, but it just seems to cause finder to lockup all the time. Its a 300GB Maxtor 6L300S0 (DiamondMax 9 i think) I've never used a real mac with multiple (Internal) disks before, my MacBook obv. only has room for the one, so I've got no real Mac to test against. Anyone else having similar problems when using multiple disks? Also a side note anyone got a recommendation for a Desktop Style Case? Synaesthesia
It should work fast. If the disk is really really slow, sometimes that means it's busy dying. Other than that, I don't know. My friend's PC was very slow on the one SATA port. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/156343-2nd-hard-disk-issue/#findComment-1100096 Share on other sites
