e39mofo
Hey everyone, I'm a newb here, somewhat knowledgable to PC's but clueless to Mac's. So here my situation. I want to install a dual boot XP and Mac OS X to my laptop which I check with Everest, is in fact a SSE2, downloaded Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger for Intel X86 Bootable. I partioned my hard drive to 14gb, rename it and all, and when booting up from the Mac DVD, all I see is an Apple with these lines scrolling in a circle and after roughly 1or2 mins, I see a small circle in the center of my screen with a bar in the middle. Basically saying something it wrong. And I can hear the DVD-rom stop working. Has anyone experienced this and if so, what do you recommend I do. I also have a legal copy of Tiger, I just know it involves more work. Let me know what you guys recommend.
