Hi everyone, name is Danny and this is my first ever post! Also my first time ever trying to do something as crazy as this project. I'd like to thing i know my way around both Windows and OS X. But have never done any serious coding to scripting of any sorts.

So on that note i have 2 questions....

1) I have a Mac pro and it came with the OS X 10.5.4 install disc. Does this count as the "retail dvd" or is it only a one license disc? I'm using this disc as my retail

2) As the title implies i have a Gateway Intel Schroeder Town G33 Motherboard. The chipset is Intel Bearlake-G33. 256Mb NVidia GeForce 8500GT. Intel Core2 Quad Q6600@2.4Ghz. The whole setup is a Gateway workstation GM5638E. So i made sure my BIOS is up to date, made the SATA be AHCI and

i'm using the Boot-132 version BOOT-KABYL-BUMBY.iso. I pop it in and let it load and once it says "boot:" i switch to my retail dvd and press enter it reads "Loading Darwinx86" with what looks like a spinning bracket. It loads for about 5-10 mins then brings up a screen thats white with the grey apple logo. Then everything just stops as if it just froze. The cd-rom stops spinning and there are no cancel icons which i have seen using other distros. It just sits on the grey apple logo. Any tips or solutions?
