shkaff
Hi there I have a crazy idea to net-boot OSX on my acer aspire one with an extremely slow SSD, which seems to be unsuitable for running OSX from it. The idea is to setup a linux server, which will provide BSDP services for booting OSX via net. I googled an article "HOWTO: Configure GNU/Linux to provide BSDP NetBoot services" This article doesn't state any happy end, that's why it doesn't make me optimistic. I haven't tried it so far... but I would try to try, if someone could help me a bit with sharing the corresponding experience. Any help / opinions would be much appreciated. P.S. Yes, I am aware about the way of upgrading HDD... but netbooting sounds so exciting Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/155968-net-booting-osx-using-bsdp-hosted-by-linux-server/ Share on other sites
