RookieNicoOSX
Hi, I tried to installed ideneb for the first time. First, I will describe my hardware: Mobo:ASUS M2A-VM CPU:AMD 4000+ HDD:160Go SATA DVD:IDE I used a patched ideneb 10.5.5 DVD write with Nero on XP. So, what I do : - Make a primary partition on XP with no format. The partition is the second on disk. - Configure Bios : SATA = AHCI and USB Legacy Device = Disable (i use ps/2 kb and mouse) - Reboot on DVD. So I see the bootloader, and after I have message : still wait root device. The curious thing : One time, I successfully begun installation, but it's baby time to eat and I shutdown the pc (at 03:00 AM... :-) ) and I never could restart correctly the installation process. The only different way, I have the AppleVIAATA.kext on my windows partition but not on dvd... Now the bad way, I tried to resize windows partion to make MAc partition first and PC freeze during the process so, I will not have XP worked and I lost my installation cd... What can I do to install MAc OS ? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/155897-ideneb-1055-installation-problem/ Share on other sites
