master tvtian
Well it is a problem which I've been seeing for some time now, but it really wasn't a deal for me until NOW. When I save something on my external HDD, and eliminate it afterwords, Leopard tells me that I still have the same space on the HDD as before moving it to the trash. I did look at the hidden files and folders, I even cleaned it with ONYX and still no improve. I have to format the hole hard drive to get my space back. As I said...Leopard is eating my HDD :'( ¿HELP? Please Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/155879-leopard-steals-my-hdd-space/ Share on other sites
The Edge3000
So what you're saying is that the file goes in the trash, deletes, yet something is still there and not in the place the file used to be? If it's a rather big file stashed away somewhere, then you should be able to spot it with Disk Inventory X (http://www.derlien.com/index.html). If you use Peer Guardian it may be blocking a lot of addresses and creating a huge, gigabyte or ten, log file. It filled up my hard drive once lol.
