royen99
After several hours in several days I am out of options. In no way I found it possible to connect any mail app so I can read my companies mailbox from home. Either Apple Mail (v3.5) and Microsoft Entourage (2008) with to many ways. The only possible connection is Outlook Web Access (OWA) on port 443. No other connection (POP, IMAP, SMTP is possible from the outside). Using any Windows Mobile smartphone, blackberry *or* iPhone is possible (and working). So it should be possible. To connect (using a browswer) only https://webmail.server.com is possible. Login goes with domain\userid. Several others (other companied) mention that they have get it to work with using https://server.name/exchange or https://server.name/exchange/user@domain (and some variations). Howeve, no matter what I try.. it won't budge. Apple's Mail wants to have SMTP and IMAP address filled it, but that is not an option, the only connection is secure http (tcp/443). If an iPhone can... it surely should be possible using a laptop/desktop with Leopard 10.5.6.... right ? Naughtylama
iPhone uses the tcp port 443 OWA entry point. If you cannot connect via any mail client then the problem is at your firewall at work. If you are only allowing port 443 access then you are out of luck.
