After managing to FINALLY get to the installation/welcome screen of Kalyway 10.5.2, it seems as though its processing WAY too slow. During boot I get errors with "SAM multimedia". That's really all I recognized as an error. Anyway, during installing mac the calculated time goes up to 13 hours and 59 minutes, thats when I shut it off. My disc didn't seem to be doing anything.

My Specs:

CPU - AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5400+ 2.80 GHz

Graphics - ATI Radeon HD 2900 xt

Motherboard - Asus P5N-E SLI

RAM - 2GB (I don't know the specifics)

DVD+R/W IDE

The HDD partition I am using has 100GB. If anyone can help, PLEASE DO! I want to get this installed as quickly as possible D:

Give it 15-25 minutes to install. If that doesn't work, burn the DVD again, it might be a bad burn.

I don't know why Kalyway 10.5.2 is so popular. If you have lots of bandwidth get yourself iPC or iDeneb 10.5.6 - the latest and greatest.

Oh, NICE! I just looked at that iDeneb and it seems to have a lot more features! :D

But, yeah, Kalyway 10.5.2 seemed to jump out at me at first. I don't know much about the OSx86 and just attempted the first thing I saw pretty much. Thanks for the fast reply though :D

well, after finally getting a good install with iDeneb 10.5.6... I boot it up with -v and I get the following errors:

"failed to load extension com.apple.driver.AppleACPIPS2Nub"

Followed by

"Still waiting for root device"

I have searched around for some fixes but have not found a definite solution. PLEASE HELP!
