CDRacingZX6R
Just a quick question, Ive searched and it seems there a lot of different preferences on how to back up the successful installation. I've decided to take the route of using Carbon Copy Cloner. What I've done so far is selected my entire OSX drive to be cloned into a backup in the form of a .dmg image file and saved on a USB Mac Partitioned drive. Just two quick questions, one is did I do the backup itself right? Is putting it in a .dmg format acceptable if the {censored} hits the fan? And the other question is, what method do I use to restore if something bad happens? Simply run the install disk? And look for a restore option or something like that on the system installer? Just a bit confused, and it seems like everyone has their own preference on backing up. Synaesthesia
I think you did it correctly. You can restore the disk image (.dmg) to your hard drive with disk utility to restore your backup. Thanks man. Super pumped, finally got it working. Now I'm just super paranoid I'll kill it and not be able to get back here. lol.
