Here's how you can find answers to questions like this:

Then it will give you helpful posts, for example this one.

i did search and a did find that particular post which didnt help because first of all i have xp not and and also i installed the oses in a different order though thnks anyways

I have added an entry to my menu.lst in ubuntu(im trying to do a triple boot with xp ubuntu and osx) that says

# OSX86

# on /dev/sda6

title OSx86 10.5.6

root (hd0,5)

chainloader +1

and when i try to boot iDeneb it gives me an error. Help plz!

 

Try grabbing boot_v9 from netkas and using that to boot your OSX86 partition from GRUB (thats how I'm doing it now). It's fairly straightforward. You copy your linux entry in GRUB, then remove the initrd line and change the kernel to your boot_v9 file and voila, it works.
