LucasIsEpic
okay so after god knows how many months, i managed to not only install but boot (in about 20 seconds i might add) on my troublesome asus m3n-ht mobo. ill list drivers and fixes to help others ipc final 10.5.6 (you know where to find it Voodoo 9.5 kernal (must select if you're using AMD) Audio: AD1988B (have to secect line out on the second audio tab once in leopard. works fine in 2.1, no other options available Graphics: nvdarwin 2.1 (MUST USE NVdarwin because both legacy and nvinject are NOT compatible with the ethernet driver and your boot up will freeze, i tried with maybe 7 different configs, each time the gpu driver caused the boot to fail at some point) Ethernet: something like alensis A1, will check later and update if needed (i used a nforce one to begin with, but then i realized (read) that the m3n had a different chip for ethernet. so i used that and voila working fast, perfectly no problems) i also used the psystar openhaltrestart.kext and the seatbelt.kext just in case i use the chameleon boot loader with the cool boot pic but i don't think it matters install was quick and now it boots from boot screen to desktop in around 20 seconds(about 10 from the mac boot screen), and shuts down in about 4. =] sleep currently isnt working, everything shuts off but then wont come back >.< but restart is =] im happy to help anyone with this motherboard as theres no one supporting it on this site cheers and thanks to PCWIZ, and all others involved with the making of IPC final grabshot.tiff Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/155579-finally-i-get-the-holy-trinity-working/ Share on other sites
