noob12 Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 hi ive got a 99% working dual boot system and just need some help with the other 10% my system specs are asus p5b deluxe/wifi intel c2d E6600@3.6ghz 1600fsb crucial balistix ddr2 1066@1000mhz xfx 8800gs wd 250gb seagate 500gb dual boot windows 7 + ideneb 1.3 osx 10.5.5 first of is graphics ive got resolution and refresh rates working +qe/ci but only on left dvi port using nvinject 320mb i used efi studio but this didn't make a difference next is hard drives not showing up my main drive shows up as two partitions (my mac + windows) my second drive only shows up now and again they are both sata plus a sata dvd drive cos jmicron is just not worth the hassle next is reboot issuse which i guess is down to using left dvi port i have to turn the system off completely then boot -v to start. to dual boot im using easy bcd which seems to run great on windows 7 so if anyone out there in hackintosh land has worked any of this out please pass on the knowledge p.s. i can build and configure systems but am useless at kext! Synaesthesia Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 The Left DVI port only is something you're gonna have to live with. Restart issues - install the Openhaltrestart kext from Psystar. It's easy with kexthelper b7. Hard drives not showing up - I don't know. Sometimes my one partition takes a while to show up...
