hauj0bb
Hi, I recently acquired the newest release of iPC, and I needed to replace the Extensions.mkext with another that I modified specifically for my build (added additional support for USB because my motherboard is weird). Now when I replace the Extensions.mkext (using transmac), the checksum of the iso changes which seemed to upset the entire image. When I boot the new image, the new kext files I added to the Extensions.mkext load perfectly, but shortly after the root device is found, I'm spammed with SAMS READ WRITE errors followed by a kernel panic. I'm certain that the kext files I added to the Extensions.mkext are not causing a read write issue, but the build in it's entirety I think is. I followed the instructions on how to insert kext files to the Extensions.mkext from a forum post on these forums, and did so using my macbook. So, with that all being said.. I think the next step would be to completely repackage/rebuild the HFS+ iso image and burn it to a disc. My problem is that I have no idea how and what to use to accomplish this task. Any feedback is appreciated! Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/155400-how-to-repackagerebuild-and-burn-an-hfs-iso/ Share on other sites
