Nila
I have an older P4 (1.6 GHz, SSE2 capable) with ASROCK P4i45GV(v5) motherboard (intel 845 chipset). I am using a vga Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 with it and not the intel one. But one drawback of my mobo is that I cannot disable intel graphics chip but only asign the primary display to the NVIDIA one. The other still remain active. I have installed iAkios 5i Leopard in this machine. My problem is that i cannot start Leopard in normal mode. It stops the machine (just stop and power off, no hang or kernel panic) just before starting the graphical routine. If I start it in safe mode, it starts ok. I understand this is because safe mode doesn't load NVIDIA drivers but use only generic vga ones. Is there any way to overcome this? Anyhow removing kexts or assigning device id to kext plists?
