moseschrist
finally got my hands on an install image, but unfortunatly i don't have neither dvd burner nor USB drive with the required capacity. so my next idea was network install, anyone has any idea about how to make it work ? or maybe i can extrack the image to my hardisk using linux and install it that way ? moseschrist
i believe i found a solution... actually it involves non of my previous options... the solution (i believe) is to use vmware to emulate a machine which uses the install cd as jas's image, that way the installation will start, currently it crashes after reaching the apple logo but that's only because i don't have a partition ready for osx (couldn't wait to try it) so i'm d/l a disk utility to repartition my hard drive... counting the minutes until the d/l will finish... updates soon...
