cpus=1 and Keyboard Layout...

Hey all,

 

I managed to get my network stable, but it requires me using the cpus=1 flag.. This isnt a major problem, but it requires me typing it in at every boot as I never checked it during the install. Rather than re-installing (as I have things set up pretty nicely now), is it possible to modify the existing install so that it will always use cpus=1 automatically?

 

Also, how can I change my keyboard so shift+2 = ", and shift+@ really does do the @ symbol?
