tylre212 Posted February 26, 2009 Share Posted February 26, 2009 alright, i've attached my cpuz output as a text file. My PC is an HP Pavilion a1240n. My dvd and cd drive are IDE while my hdd is SATA. When i boot up into the iATKOS 5i dvd and boot up with -v option, i get the "still waiting for root device" error repeated over and over. This also happens with the other options I've tried: cpus=1; toh -v; -x -v; -f -v; platform=X86PC -v; and platform=ACPI. Any ideas?
