Hi,

I've been reading this forum and over the net about installing OSx86, but i still have some very basic questions i couldn't find answers for.

I would be very thankful if someone could answer them.

my specs are

motherboard: Gigabyte P35-DS3R

processor: Intel Core2Duo E6550

video card: MSI 8800GT 512 mb

4 GB RAM

one HDD for vista, and one for OSx86 Leopard

in case i use Kalyway 10.5.2.

1. Which kernel do i check while installing ? (i've read that many users uncheck kernels, why?)

2. Which NVinject driver do i check while installing ?

3. Which chipset driver do i check ? (intel ICHx SATA? or ICH10 ?! i have ICH9 on vista)

4. Will cpus=1 code disable one of my cores ? is there a way to use both cores ?

5. If i use the BIOS settings described in tutorials for booting OSx86 will that setting affect vista/or my pc capabilities?

in case i use iPC 10.5.6.

1. Which audio driver do i check, because i can't find realtek audio driver?

Some other things that bug me:

HFS+ and NTFS

When i install mac, my partitions will be HFS+, but in order to browse and save in NTFS partitions on vista HDD (using an app for that), will i be able to save documents directly from a program (say Photoshop) to NTFS partitions or do i have to save on HFS+ partition, and then transfer it to NTFS..

Also, if i want to listen to music stored on NTFS drive, can i listen to it with iTunes directly, or do i have to copy all those files to HFS+ part. so i could open them ?

is OSx86 stable? can it mess up my hadrware as i had issues with vista and ie8 beta..(it messed up my video card)..

i've read many threads over the internet, and no one ever explained these things. just said they use those settings..

So thanks in advance for answers, and thanks for patientce !
