big Jay
Hi all, I am new to this Forum but I am pretty impressed how much seems to work so far and how active the community is. I bought an EEE 1002ha, after reading on the Internet that it seems to be possible to install OSX on it. After clicking blindly outside of the screen for a while when running the iDeneb 1.4.6 setup (the buttons weren't shown on the screen, not even with an external monitor) it took about 45minutes to install. Then it reported the installation had worked out fine and went to restart. I then changed the boot priority in the Bios again to let it boot from the HDD. After apparently freezing during bootup i used "-v" as a parameter when booting. This is the last thing posted on the screen: Extension "com.apple-driver.AppleACPIPlatform has immediate deppendencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.lpi components;use only one style (twice)What I have not done is installing a modified Bios. I read it is needed for installation on an EEE 1000H but I cannot find one for 1002HA. Is there one available or do I need one in the first place? I would greatly appreciate if someone could hinte me on where to center my effort :censored2: kind regards Jacob Also I have not customized anything during installation (since I could not find the button^^). Is there something like "unchecking Kernel" what needs to be done? edit: after 10 minutes it moved on HCIControlleroller configurePM power parent ready after 1 triesStill waiting for rooot device Still waiting for rooot device Still waiting for rooot device . . .
