effgeet
I've been considering doing a new system build for awhile now. I got a great deal on a super fast processor, and was originally just going to build a screaming fast PC. However, I love my MacBook Pro and the more I think about it the more appealing a Hackintosh/dual boot seems. So, here's the deal. I have a Core 2 Extreme QX6850. I have a ton of storage [think about 4TB worth of SATA drives]. If I was going to build a hackintosh around this processor, what would be the best motherboard, videocard, etc. to go with? I want something very powerful. I'm not TOO concerned about budget, but I don't want to waste money either. I'd prefer to get hardware that is as close to natively compatible as possible so I don't have to do any hardcore hacking / worry about my {censored} breaking the next time they release an update. I'd really appreciate any input! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/154851-considering-a-hackintosh-need-input/ Share on other sites
