DogEater008
DP35DPM + Q9550 + Diamond ATI radeon 3650 512mb GDDR2 + 8GB of ram Hi, so i spent the entire day trying to get ideneb 1.4 to install on my desktop at home. Installing setting selected: ATI 3650 driver (intel) Network Intel 82566 Series In safe mood: Graphic I was able to set up dual monitor (extend) mode with the maximum resolution my monitor can handle and works perfect except for quartz. But i guess that's because safe boot doesn't support quartz. Used OSX86tool,and it said quartz is enabled Network: Works perfectly. Problem: When booting up to normal mode i either get: 1) Blank screen (sometimes blue, black, or my wallpaper) with a cursor at the top left corner. And i was able to move the cursor around. The hdd light sometimes just stayed on and i came back a few hour later, and it was still at the same stage. 2)It able to boot the the main desktop but then seems to have frozen up. The screen output seems to be messed up with blocks of different color pixels, but I was able to see my "dock" appear clearly. I did not boot this using cpus=1 because when i tried to load the ideneb 1.4 disk using cpus=1 like most recommanded, it could never load to the installer screen and seem to have frozen. I suspect it may be the graphic card driver since no one (googling) seems to have gotten this card to work with MAC even though it said supported. But then again, the graphic card work flawlessly in safe mode.
