bigcheese61
After many installations trying to get it perfect I'm finally there. Installed iPC 10.5.6 (1st version from Pirate Bay) PPf1, PPf2 My Hardware: EP45 DS3L E8400 overclocked to 3.4ghz with stock cooler Kensington Hyper X 4gb Zotac Geforce 7300gt 256mb I installed the OS on a SATA drive (dont recommend using IDE) Heres every option I chose during installation: 1. Dont select a kernal, this will install the default 9.6.0 2. NVdarwin 256mb (video driver) 3. Chipset Driver: Intel ICH10 Sata & JMicronATA & IDE 4. Dont select an audio driver, Use the drivers from this link (Azilla & HDA): http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=135948 5. USB Drivers: I selected Patched USB Drivers 6. Fixes and Patches: Sata drive icon fix 7. DSDT Patches: Patch DSDT with New HPET 8. Alternate Bootloader: Chameleon with DSDT/Custom Boot Picture 9. Applications: OSX86 Tools, Mkext Helper, Universal Uninstaller Here are the BIOS settings I used to get sleep working: Bios Settings: Select - Power Management Setup Set - ACPI to S3 (STR) Set - Soft Off by Pwr-Bttn Set - PME Event Wakeup - Enabled System Preferences Settings Click on Energy Saver then options, check the box (restart automatically after power failure). Final Note Remaining issues: Shutdown doesn't always completely shutoff the computer. I found that having sleep fully functional is more important than having to push the power button to completely shutoff the computer. Restart works great and sleep works great. One issue I found was after waking my IDE drive would disappear. My two other sata drives work great after wake so I just removed the IDE drive cause I dont need it.
