I successfully burned both iDeneb and iAtkos to CDs and got through both installations, but still can't seem to get my PC to boot properly. In iDeneb, I got the dreaded circle w/diagonal line indicating that something wasn't right. I suspect this is a patching issue, but the steps I found on other pages for installing the patch didn't work for me -- specifically, the "apply" command in the command screen wasn't recognized by my machine.

As for iAtkos, I'm pretty certain that the customization options are the cause for my problems. On the first boot, the system couldn't locate my mouse or keyboard. I found a fix for this in the customization options, but apparently created another problem in the process. On bootup, I now just get a frozen screen or a screen that slowly fades entirely to white.

I've followed the customization instructions in iAtkos to a T, but the guidance there is limited. When you get to Drivers and System, the instructions get thin and I'm left to guessing what drivers/options/other fixes may or may not work on my system.

I'm now downloading Kalyway, but feeling skeptical about that as well. iAtkos got me further than iDeneb and as I mentioned, I strongly suspect that the devil is somewhere in the long list of customize options. Any advice?
