photoshop cs4 cannot save

Hi,

 

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this. My Photoshop just crashes whenever I try to save a file.... -it's sort of an essential function and I find it really annoying.

 

I am unsing iAtkos 10.2.0 on a Dell xps 1530

 

6gb ddr20 800mhz nvidia 8600 256mb,

 

-I don't think it's a system error though as I can save just fine in After Effects & Flash...

 

If there's anyone out there who'd like to join in in complaining you're more than welcome,

 

if there's anyone with an actual sollution to the problem that'll be fantastic.

 

ps -I tried disabling version cue as I read that that can cause wire problems
