oSxFr33k
I have the same Asus Board and did choose any of these: Legacy Time Machine Fix Patched Usb Drivers Finder 10.5.5 +keyboard pref pane Just SHutdown/restart fix and left all chipsets blank and found a fix for the AHCI device names left as unknown in the profiler and orange icons. Have to find the link. CHose nvdarwin as you did and chose AppleSMBIOSEFI. Then ran osx86tools and ran EFI for Nvidia 7300 GT 256mb. Chose the same drivers as you for both Audio and Ethernet. I also have a PCI Linksys Wireless so I chose the BCM4301 chipset and had to add my device ID in. 100% working. I am wondering if you really needed the finder and time machine fixes? I did not choose andy USB etc fixes as well and all seems to work fine. eSATA does nt HotSwap but then again the eSATA is on an internal sata port. Did you choose jmicron legacy or the other one forgot what it was claled jmicron new or something? Is their on guide on the ASus Maximus Formula X38 chipset for th iPC OSx86 PPF5 final install? Thanks You are right, you don´t need this fixes, works fine even without. I didn´t install any jmicron kext, when i saw i wasn´t recognized properly i installed some kexts don´t remember which one, after that it listed as what it is in device manager. No, i don´t think that there is a guide, but there´s this thread, nearly a guide... peace Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/154591-ipc-osx86-10-5-6-universal-ppf5-final-asus-maximus-formula-solved/#findComment-1172104 Share on other sites
