Posted February 23, 2009 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Hi all, i got osx86 (kalyway) finally onto my computer, with a lot of help through lurking on this forum! so, firstly thanks to all who post up advice. Now i have a small problem with regard to my new ram install. I just put in some 2x2gig OCZ platinum 1066mhz ram, in windows it reads correctly, but in OSX86 its reading at 800mhz only. Is there a reason for this? Can i change it? or will i need new kexts? I googled around and didnt really find anything specific to my problem and i dont wanna end up in another reboot loop.
