I've read a lot about how the RunCore 16gb SSD is a little thinner, and therefore doesn't fit in the slot as well as the stock SSD, but I have gotten it to have a pretty solid connection (installed all of OS X on it without a hitch), so I don't think that's the issue.

However, if I try to boot while it's hooked up via the PCI-e slot, I make it to the gray Apple logo, and I get a no (circle with a slash through it) sign on the Apple after awhile. I've tried reinstalling, checking the connections, pretty much everything I can think of, and it hasn't fixed the issue. I also haven't been able to find anything online for a fix.

Everything else seems to be working (sound, Wifi, video card, Quartz, etc) when I have it hooked up through USB, but it's rather impractical to have an exposed flash chip hanging by a cable on a portable device.

Sorry for the barrage of questions to this forum, I really do appreciate all the excellent information I've gotten here!
