Brand: HP dv6700 Current OS: Windows 7 (I want to dual boot, maybe give OSx 10.5 like 40gigs) Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-60 Wireless: Atheros AR5007EG Wireless Network Adapter Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M RAM: 3gb Hard Drive: 200gb Audio: Conextant High Definition If you need to know any other specs let me know. I am a complete noob, so sorry in advance for the fail questions. 1) What distro should i get. 2) How do i install it? boot order and all that stuff? 3) What are kexts and how do i get them 4) My biggest concern is Graphics (by default without the driver it goes to 800x680 and that is too painful for my eyes to have) and Wireless (i need wireless lol). 5) I have heard for hp or something you have to install on an external hard drive? I have a 70gb one i could use for that, do i have to format it or what? 6) What else should i know? I would be sooooo grateful if somebody could answer my questions or direct me if it has already been answered.
