pono123 Posted February 21, 2009 Share Posted February 21, 2009 Hi all, I am having problem with getting VMWare in OSx86 loading up default XP. I have installed XP SP2 on the 1st Partition and OSx86 on the 2nd Partition OSx86 works fine, but I want to use VMWare on OSx86 and to use the XP SP2(this XP SP2 what I have installed on the first partition) as my virtual machine disk. I tried to get it to boot the XP partition, it goes past the bios boot and then gives me an error. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get this to work? kytzu Posted February 22, 2009 Share Posted February 22, 2009 I think vmware can load only bootcamp windows partitions, not hackintosh configurations. I have tried for a while to manage it with no success, now I use a xp installed in vmware and works pretty well.
