My Toshiba is a A105-S4054 Satellite with 4Gb ram and wide screen.

I had Kalway 10.5.2 running and wanted to get 10.5.6. I had good luck with "IATKOS 5i" on my Intel D945GCNL it loaded 10.5.5 and I was able to run the Apple update service with no problems to 10.5.6.

I tried this on the laptop with a fresh hard drive and the basic 10.5.5 loaded correctly and worked. I lost the keyboard and mousepad when I ran the apple update to 10.5.6. If I took my apple keyboard and mouse in the USB port everything worked ok. My laptop keyboard and touch/mouse/pad are PS2 device and was unable to find a way to fix or load a driver to make it work. Strictly speaking the 10.5.6 update loaded correctly but I guess apple figured by taking out the PS2 support they could stop some of us. I am sure someone here has or will figure out how to fix this issue.

As 10.5.5 was much better that 10.5.2 and re-ran the install to fix me back to 10.5.5

I Tried the driver listed in the previous message but it did not help, it may have been something with the EFI srings??
