cyberock
I have a Shuttle SD30G2 Plus with an Intel e8400 in it. I installed Windows Vista and the processor ran fine at the full 3.0Ghz with 1333fsb. I tried it with IPC 10.5.6 and it won't find the sata hard drive unless I underclock the processor. I also tried iDeneb 1.4 and same issue. I know the Shuttle board says it is native 1333, does the OSx86 not support that? I know it isn't a hardware issue since it runs fine in Windows. I am up and running but I would like to get the 1333FSB without the issue of "Still waiting for root device" Thanks in advance for your help! M4kintosh
of course support native fsb 1333mghz, but you must upgrade Biosdont install ipc, you can try install iatkos, ideneb or others I've only gotten that error if I install the incorrect or missing chipset drivers. My Motherboard runs at 1.6mhz FSB since I overclocked my Q8200 so i would double check the BIOS settings. did you uncheck AHCI?
