kidalive
I`m using a retail install and didn`t do anything to get my X3100 working. Maybe this laptop has the same kind of graphics card Apple MacBooks use. But recently I found that it doesn`t work when I plugs a external dispaly. At first time I can log in the system with the external display working in a not proper resolution. So I clicked the detect displays button and get two displays failed to dispaly a thing. Any idea, guys? Any idea, guys? Yeah. You have probably active screen mirroring. All you need to do is to activate the VoiceOver and after detect display find the option "Mirror Display" and switch it off. The best to do it is to reveal display icon on the menu bar and then work your way to the right icon and uncheck "Mirror Display" option.
