Hi everybody,

I have installed OSX86 before on my old laptop, so I'm not completely new to the OSX86 world. So here my problem:

I have a DELL Dimension 4300. I want to install Leopard on it. If I have to I will install Tiger. I've upgraded the BIOS to Revision A06 from Revision A02. I've upgraded the memory to 1 GB from 256 MB. There is a Intel P4 running at stock speed of 1.7 GHz. I also know there is a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 card in back with 64 mb vram. I first tried to install Kalyway 10.5.2. But I couldn't get my DVD to boot because of EFI, it would just restart every time before getting to the install. So I downloaded the patch Kalyway 10.5.2 JMicron Fix Chameleon Patch from Chameleon Bootloader's website. I was then able to boot into the installer where I installed Kalyway to the second partition of my hard drive. The install succeeded and restarted. I left the disk in and it booted into the white apple screen. After 2 minutes it showed me the black box titled "You need to restart your computer". I turned off my computer and removed the install disk. I started up the computer. But it didnt get past the osx boot selector screen because it was EFI. So I shut it down and tried leo4all. Same exact thing happened. Wouldnt work, used the Leo4all Chameleon 10.1.11 patch patch, booted, installed, removed the disk restarted and EFI kept it from booting. So I put the DVD back in. It started loading. It got to a line "Feb 19 09:44:38 localhost configd[34]: Interfacenamer: no network interfaces, could not update platform UUID" and it hung there. I gave up on leopard and tried XxX Intel 10.4.11 install disk. I booted successfully, installed, restarted, and it got stuck on the same line leo4all did "Feb 19 09:44:38 localhost configd[34]: Interfacenamer: no network interfaces, could not update platform UUID". I shutdown and now I have no idea what to do. HELP! Please.
