O.K here is the problem. I'm following the instructions I've included as attachments. Don't have ocr for printer so they are jpg, sorry. First I want to say thanks to all the very smart people that take time out of their day to help newbies like me. This is my first post. I've spent many hours over the last month just reading. I have the most success with the IPC release. With IDeneb I could get Leopard with a whole bunch of steps but no ethernet, sound or video. With IPC and following these instructions I have a Leopard that boots and runs very fast and has ethernet. Still no audio or video. Instructions say not to install a video driver because of crashes. I've tried both with and without. With video driver(NVDarwin 256mb) during install I get to a screen that shows my motherboard(gforce 630i - nforce7100). But the last line is something like usr/bin something and starting. Left overnight and stayed there. If I don't install video I boot into Leopard just fine. 2 Problems though. I have 2 sound choices. My built-in HDMI or my emu 0404 pci card. There is a beta driver for the emu which I have installed but when I go to sound it shows emu 0404 but says this device has no output or input controlls. I also have tried using EFI studio to get my display working but I try to restart and it just hangs at Apple screen. Also after first install I am only showing 1 core. So I run the GUID patcher and patch dsdt to my leopard partion. Upon restart I get a panic and have to restart manually. Will restart and boot back into Leopard and shows 2 cores. I guess I could leave the patch out and run on only 1 core. It is very fast either way. I am trying to install on my Western Digital drive. Any help with video and sound would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
