Kadeo
Hai, I've installed the macsox 64 before hoping it'll work well and i wouldn't have to return to the daunting windows. Turns out my REALTEK RTL8187 Wireless LAN Driver didn't work, i couldn't connect to the internet to get all the apps and other things i wanted for my new "mac". I used my other computer to find out that only some drivers where made. This was about a year ago, and i returned hoping it had been made by someone who had the same problem and who then new how to continue in this crisise. There wasen't and so i'm here asking the question to developers who have made Wireless and Lan drivers before. Can you give me the tools / tutorials on how to make my driver? Any help would be great, simple tuts on this thread or "topic" would provide other users who are stuck with solutions and a head way and of course, my problem. Also, if there is already someone who beat-me-to-it and started a topic with similar posts on how to make a wireless lan driver, that'd be fantastic, post it up! If not, well as i said, any help would be awesome. Hopefully, i do end up making this drive (because you don't have the chip installed so you can't actually make it) you could post it up on to the wiki i see you have. I also don't know how to figure out if i have the RTL8187B or RTL8187L because it only says RTL8187 when i manage devices in my control panel.. Anyway, thanks in advanced! Kadeo. PS You can download a copy of my driver (Windows Only) from here: http://downloads.emachines.com/drivers/wir...070-002-001.zip In case that might come in handy, you know converting it, etc. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153922-realtek-rtl8187-wireless-lan-driver/ Share on other sites
