dai_vernon
I am interested in trying osx86 with my compaq presario f700. I am currently running linux on it, with a working windows install that I almost never use, and the first thing to load is GRUB. A few questions: 1) Can I boot an OSx86 installation with GRUB? The wiki is highly unhelpful and outdated 2) Is it recommended that I do a complete reformatting before I attempt to install leopard? Thanks a lot. I would assume Chamillion/EFI loads before your GRUB. For me, I have EASYBCD bootloader, but chamillion boot loader goes first, asking me to boot into Leopard and "Windows" Yours should say the same thing. If you have an extra partition, hard drive, or external HDD, try that first. See if everything works. Good luck! I'm about to install iPC 10.5.6 PPF5.
