Picatta
So, I finally worked through my last bug, but now my computer (10.5.2 kalyway) hangs on boot at this line: "Could not establish network configuration: Success!" My motherboard: Zotac GF8100-A-E (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813500014) Processor: AMD64 x2 5200+ RAM: DDR2 667 1GB x2 HD: SATA II 320 GB GFX: Integrated GeForce 8100 DVD Used: Kalyway 10.5.2 w/amd patches Wireless: USB RTL8187 (I think) Any ideas on why this is happening? EDIT: If I boot with -x, it gets past the last error and then I see: (Error) IndexCI in ContentIndexOpenBulk: No index Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153411-hangs-at-could-not-establish-network-configuration/ Share on other sites

Picatta
they way that i fixed it was uncheck all 3rd party network drivers when i reinstalled it unfortunly reinstall is the only way OK, I did that and then I repaired permissions. Now it hangs at Macintosh mDNSResponder[20]: Couldn't read user-specified Computer Name; using default bMacintosh-000000000000b instead EDIT: I tried restarting with -x -v -legacy cpus=1 now it stops at Macintosh /usr/sbin/ocspd: starting Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/153411-hangs-at-could-not-establish-network-configuration/#findComment-1082746 Share on other sites
