Ok fellow hackintoshers.. Below are the specs on my laptop. I've got OSX 10.5.6 running on it and it works quite well. Only problem is I can't get OSX to shutdown properly.

I'm running the iPC OSX86 10.5.6 Final verison.

If I select `Shutdown', the laptop will turn the display off and just hang.

If I select `Restart', the laptop will actually power off and not restart.

I've applied the Restart/Shutdown patch, but it hasn't done anything.

Putting the laptop to sleep will properly goto sleepmode and it will wakeup.

I've run out of options to fix these issues.

Below are the specs of my laptop which may help the gurus out there provide a fix.

Many thanks in advance for any help that can be provided..

anyone? anyone??

Selecting `Restart' shuts the machine down.

Selecting `Shutdown' turns off display and power is still on with fans running.

I've already the Restart/Shutdown patch with no change.

is there a way to dump a logfile of what's happening when it's restarting or shutting down?

I try to use the Verbose mode, but it flashes by with so much into and then the display shuts off.
