First Off....

I love you guys... You all rock...

I currently have FINALLY installed iDeneb 10.5.5 on my HP A6010n..

The specs are as follows:

ASUS P5LP-LE Motherboard with Integrated Video, LAN

It has a Northbridge Intel 945G Chipset/ Southbridge ICH7DH

Audio is integrated as well and a Realtek ALC888

Video is GMA 950

As stated I added the proper kext and have the audio working. Only thing not functional are the :

-MODEM

-LAN (Which is Integrated)

And I think that is it.

Can anyone tell me how to A) Get the MODEM and LAN Functioning B) Convert this install to a retail install so that it is not a hacked OS. I have a RETAIL Leopard DVD and just cant find the proper sources to run the Retail and make it work.

Thank you all in advance..

figure out your LAN (and Modem) specs and have a look into the HCL or find the drivers by installing iPC or iDeneb by customizing your installation ...

for a retail you have to use a boot-132 cd or MacLoader tool for a small boot-132 partition, there will be no converting, you have to install new ... your boot cd / partition have to contain all the kexts needed by your system, so if you do not know exactly, which kexts you need, stay with iDeneb or iPC ...

As stated I added the proper kext and have the audio working. Only thing not functional are the :

I have the same verison of iDeneb and the same audio card, and nothing.

Well for the audio I used the pystar ALC 888 Kext and it works fine...

Can you tell me how to do the retail.. I know the hardware I have and what is needed to do a retail install. Is there a reason you can not run a mac driver for a Wireless nic card??
