Hi,

Old Problem:

I loaded Ideneb 10.5.5 and i wanted to install it on my PC. But i allways get a white screen with an apple logo and a black cycle that goes arround. i launched with -v and the last line is:

"using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers"

I hope you can help me. Would be great!

---> Solution: Install OSX with CPUS=1-fix and ACPI-Fix

Asus Maximus II Forumla (Intel P45 Chipset)

New Problem

I wanted to install also Windows on my HDD, but it can't manage the HDD's when in my bios "AHCI" is set. But HacMac only works wenn "AHCI" is set, otherwhise i cant boot... So, how can i install both?

"AHCI" --> Mac works, Windows doesn't (BlueScreen)

"RAID" --> Mac can't boot: "Still waiting for root device", Windows also doesn't

"IDE" --> Mac can't boot: "Still wainting for root device", Windows works

AHCI --> All HDD's in thair Full size available! Also all paritions are shown!

RAID --> No HDD's available on Install

IDE --> Enhanced --> No HDD's available on Install

IDE --> Compatible --> HDD'S available but all have a size of 128GB WTF? (In Windows Installer in FullSize wtf?)

Hi, look at this thread

Using 16384 buffers....

Anyway, you can try to boot with -x

Regards and luck

YES! I also got it to work!

Thank you! :)

But Full Graphics (Installed NvidiaGO), Audio are not running. Also i had to install cpus=1-fix. Can't i run it with 4 cores?

Edit:

I want to dualboot with windows... and theres no ahci comapiblity for windows.

As IDE i can't install osx on it...

And as RAID i can install osx but not boot :<
