Steve Meisner
I am running Kalyway (details below) and, unlike many other posts I have found, am having a couple of issues...one of which is the system hangs during a reboot. But unlike others, it's not coming up. Instead it's when the system should go into the BIOS POST. It just hangs at the black screen forever and never resets & enters the BIOS. I tried booting with cpus=1 which made no difference. Installed 10.5.2 from Kalyway DVD; upgraded to .3, .4 and then .5. Reboot problem always existed. Also, sleep doesn't work. The fans keep running on the motherboard, but the display goes to sleep. System details: Mobo Jetway J9F2 (Intel 945GME+ICH7M chipset), Core 2 Duo T720, 2GB RAM, Intel GMA950 video, REALTEK RTL8111 network, REALTEK ALC 888 audio) Audio out works fine; LAN works; video works OK...don't have all the resolutions available. I did apply the kext patch that's available for the GMA950. Is this just something people don't really care about, or am I the only having this problem?
