Nesagwa
I recently built a computer that I plan on using as a media server. Motherboard: Intel DG31PR Ram: 4gb Corsair Video Card: EVGA "e-GeForce" 8500 GT, PCI-e, 1gb DDR2 Processor: 2.33ghz C2Q Q8200 Using iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 disc According to the wiki, everything should work out of box (vanilla kernel) except for the audio, which needs the ALC888 kext installed and the HDA patch. I've got an 80gb sata drive that Ive formatted and partitioned GUID, mac extended journaled (thought it was because it was set to MBR at first, but upon fixing that and a second install the problem still happened.) The only patches Im turning on are the audio and the NVInject 1gb. Not sure what else to do. EDIT: going to try the ipc disc, ideneb doesnt seem to be working at all. Nesagwa
Tried both NVinject and NVkush with the StageXNU kernel, both result in black screen on final boot. (settings from the wiki under 10.5.4) Out of ideas on what might be wrong. Help? EDIT: Tried vanilla kernel again, getting a black screen after the initial apple loading screen on the first boot.
