Zetsubou Posted February 15, 2009 Share Posted February 15, 2009 So im trying to install using iAtkos_5i on these specs Ga-x38-dq6 Q6600 8 gigs of ddr2 ram 8800 gts 320mb every time i install i get a kernel panic pointing me towards my ACPI specifically IOPlatformExpert.kext So im wondering if anyone can give tell me possibly a better install disk, drivers, or bios setting(though i think mine are fine) Help is much appreciated! Zetsubou Posted February 16, 2009 Author Share Posted February 16, 2009 Ok so i got osx installed using iPC dvd. I used the stageXnu kernel to get things working. But whenever i mount a dmg it get and instant "You need to restart" screen. Im wondering if anyone can give me their 10.5.4 system and seatbelt.kext, or should i reinstall and use the voodoo kernel?
