SMHJR1
Just to start, here are my system specifications: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...E:X:RTQ:US:1123 So, I was able to install iATKOS with no problems until the after-installation reboot. Now, it skips past the Darwin boot loader, goes into the same grey screen with the circle thing that preceeded the installer. I restarted my PC and manually selected to boot with the hard drive, and then did the -v thing, and when it gets down to the bottom, I notice a couple of errors: - "There was an error while getting PSTate array from ACPI. Please create your P-State table manually." - "mDNSresponder[38]: Couldn't read user-specified Computer name: using default..." The resolution it is in is wider than my monitor, so it can be hard to see. Those are the last two things that pop up before it freezes. As a side note: I can boot into Vista fine. SMHJR1
OK... new problem. I deleted and re-invented the partition. I re-installed iATKOS. It installed fine, but at the end it did not give me the 30-second option to restart. It just went to scrolling text, and said something about the service already existing, before it finally restarted. It restarted and, again, it skipped past the Darwin Boot Loader and went to the pre-installation grey screen. Afte rabout 20 seconds, something looked like it was coming over the screen and then it froze. I reset the computer and did the -v thing, and instead of throwing up errors and all that jazz, it went past checking my video card... the last line before the freeze said "System model type: OEM". There was another error that popped up repeatedly throughout the that was something like "Could not find the HEPT". Any ideas yet?
