for anyone that's been trying to install on this board i was able to install to a sata by booting dvd, hitting f8 and using cpus=1 flag ( i have an e7400 core 2 duo cpu)

i ticked option for ich10 driver, realtek 1000, acpi panic patch and chameleon with boot logo and dsdt patch. first tried booting HD and machine reboots as soon as the logo pops up but if i use the cpus=1 switch it boots up fine. for a vid card i have a pny 512meg 9400gt that is CI/QE thanks to a driver from MacNutty. The onboard nic works but i'm not sure which audio kext-if any-works. i tried the ad1988 (and :D and onboard audio isn't working but i have a usb audio interface that works fine as long as i turn of hi-speed in the bios. oh yeah, ide drives are not working but no big whoop for me.

as far as bios goes i set achi for sata and turned off all of my cpu options. i did try enabling 'execute disable function' because i saw in another post that made it so the cpus=1 switch wasn't needed but i didn't have the same luck and still have to boot with the switch.

just thought i'd share that for anyone who's pulling out hairs like i was! also hope that someone smarter than me can clue me in as to what i missed as far as getting both cpu's on my core 2 duo up and running without having to mess with my bios... ;)
