Tommywomble Posted February 13, 2009 Share Posted February 13, 2009 Hi, looking to try and install OSX86 on my desktop now, after not having any success with my laptop (Dell inspiron 1545) So here are my specs, wondering if you could tell me how compatible my rig is with OSX86. Here is my set up: Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P35-S3G CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 GFX Card: 8800gt Not sure about chipsets and the like, but the motherboardd models and CPU and gfx card should be enough, right? So, what i'm asking is, what distro (not sure of the actual term) should i use, for the hardware i have and what drivers should i pick when installing it, also, im looking to dual boot with windows vista, which i have installed now.
