Scottm91
Hello, I am trying to install a netgear wg311v2 (comcast) running 10.5.6 on a Dell E510. I've already tried the Broadcom driver for mac osx and tried to add my device id, but i can't seem to find out what it is. whatever i try to do, it still shows at no airport installed and will not turn it on. Thanks for your assistance! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/152740-1056-wireless-help/ Share on other sites

Thanks for your assistance! [DO you see a Broadcom chipset on the card? It is the one exposed and not under the shield. Most of the comcast wg311v2s are TI chipsets. Broadcom will be recognized as an airport native device.] Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/152740-1056-wireless-help/#findComment-1138070 Share on other sites
