member326495
Hi. Nice to see someone is doing good here I made the mistake of installing kalyway 5.2 because I didn't know any better, and now when I'm trying to install iPhone SDK they ask me for version 5.5 + I just wanted to ask you if you installed 5.6 with a retail disk or was it downloaded over the internet. If you did this with a pirate version could you show me the guide you followed? Many thanks and congrats on your system!! subbarao
Hi, I too installed Windows 7 and OSX Leopard. My installation procedure is as under: 1. My HDD has 4 partitions - Partition 1 - 10 GB OEM Hidden, Partition 2 NTFS - 50 GB for Windows 7, Partition 3 Unformatted - 40 GB for OSX and Partition 4 unformatted - 90 GB for Data 2. Installed Windows 7 fully on Partition 2 3. Installed Kalyway 10.5.2 on Partition 3 - formatted Partition 3 Mac Journalled and Partition 4 FAT 32. 4. When rebooted, HFX partition error appeared. Then inserted Windows 7 DVD and repaired Stgart up and booted. 5. Darwin appeared with Options of booting - all 4 partitions! 6. Booted into OSX and installed 10.5.6 combo (downloaded from Appel site) with the help of Mysticus c*'s solution for installing 10.5.4 combo (check the forum for the full instructions and required pre- and post-installation files. My OSX is now 10.5.6 version. The other issues of drivers for some of the components of my computer still persist. Try this method. Best of luck. Hi. enochpc
I would like to Dual boot with my existing install of Windows 7 and a new install (either iDeneb v1.4 with 10.5.6 or my retail 10.6 that is coming from Amazon) and have Windows 7 be the default. Any suggestions on the best way to do it? It seems all the instructions I have seen have OSX end up as the default. Thanks for helping a noob!
