Acidic Posted February 12, 2009 Share Posted February 12, 2009 Hey guys, Ive installed Leopard retail 10.5.4 updated to 10.5.6 via combo update. everything works perfectly including digital out audio, for some reason though the audio input doesn't seem o be working. Ive tried plugging in some recording equpment into the computer and switching to garageband, it doesn't pick anything up. I've gone to system preferences, Audio input shows up but shows no signal. Not sure what to do here. Ill keep googling, any help is appreciated! do you think this might work? ALC882 AppleHDA v0.4b.mpkg I have retail leopard, not sure if it would work the same way a kalyway. Wing123 Posted July 27, 2009 Share Posted July 27, 2009 Acidic: Did you find any solutions for this? I've got the same mobo, and the same problem after updating to 10.5.7. My HDA audio output works fine, but no audio input devices are found by the system. I've searched high and low for answers on this, but haven't come up with anything yet to solve the problem. The funny thing is.... everything worked fine until I updated from 10.5.6.
