On the other hand the host port you are connecting it to needs to support pm, which sata controller does that atom have? Check intel page or mobo manual for which *exact* ich you have there to be sure. Is it this the board you have: http://www.intel.com/Products/Desktop/Moth...LF-overview.htm Does it have an option in the BIOS for running the SATA ports in AHCI mode? Without AHCI support I think no SATA port multiplier will work.
